Rose Cottage in the Château Monfreville area. Upstairs, the cottage includes 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, a bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink, and separate toilet. Downstairs is a beautiful living room with a wood-burning stove and a large double sofa bed, which can accommodate 2 people, as well as a comfortable sofa and armchairs. Wi-Fi connection. No TV. Community swimming pool. The space The dining room has a back door that opens onto a terrace for alfresco dining. The Rose Cottage has a private garden and barbecue. Family cottage within the walls of a castle located in the heart of the Normandy countryside. Whether sitting around the fire or admiring the starry sky, peeling fresh oysters from the market or taking a dip in the beautiful pool, or dining with the family, Château Monfreville is the perfect retreat to relax. Explore the World War II landing beaches and monuments of Omaha and Utah Beach, discover the Bayeux Tapestry or visit Mont Saint Michel. Normandy has a rich and colorful history dating back to the Vikings, with beautiful villages, towns and gastronomy to delight the senses. This region of France is an exceptional destination. Swimming pool open from June to September. Other things to note The cottages are located on one side of the estate and each have a private garden. In July-August, the estate also hosts a few tents on the other side of the estate. This is a natural and very quiet area (no electricity or motorhomes/caravans). The cottages are far enough away to be isolated if they wish. Bakery delivery in addition in July/August Evening meals occasionally organized in the converted barn. The pool is shared.
