Awaken your senses with your own private spa retreat, which includes a cold plunge pool, and a Finnish wood-fired sauna for maximum relaxation. The bath house is completely detached from the main house, just steps away, complemented with radiant flooring. Pop open the hot tub cover, and soak in the 6 person whirlpool, and let the powerful jets do the work! Challenge your friends to a game of ping-pong in the game room to see who’s got what it takes to be the Zen Pong Champion, or choose from assortment of board games and life sized outdoor games. In the evenings, you can unwind and gather around the outdoor fire pit, share stories while enjoying the star-lit sky or cuddle up with your significant other on either of the two hammocks! PRO-TIP: On a clear night with no clouds, turn off all the lights inside and outside the house, lay back on the hammock or loungers and count how many shooting stars you can see flying through the sky. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor games including: CornHole, Volleyball, Soccer, Football, and more! Turning on Airplane mode is highly recommended, though if you don’t want to disconnect entirely, our high speed WiFi mesh system will keep you connected, from the bath house to every level of the home. The Zen House is family friendly, and I welcome everyone from all walks of life, from every part of the globe! Want to bring your furry one with you? We welcome all trained pets with open arms, at no additional cost! The Zen House is tucked away in the up and coming town of Livingston Manor, NY. Just 2 hours from NYC! The town prides itself in having just about everything within a short drive from the home. One of the key things about the location is that we are just minutes away from the Willowemoc Wild Forest in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. I am always available to answer any questions, help prepare for your trip, assist with any special requests you may have, and for local tips & attractions. Prior to your arrival, you will be sent a relatively comprehensive manual which includes house rules, things to do around town, check in-instructions, emergency contact information, and other general info. *PLEASE SEE OTHER THINGS TO NOTE SECTION FOR BEDROOM ARRANGEMENTS* Guest access Guests have access to the home, bath house and 5.5 acre outdoor property. We are on a private road, and have neighboring homes about 500 feet away, please be respectful of the neighbors and their property, please try to keep the outdoor noise down from 10 PM - 8 AM. You can always keep the vibe going inside! Other things to note The Zen House has welcomed guests for over a decade, and I have poured my heart & soul to building this space for everyone to create everlasting memories, and have lots of fun, while being in the most relaxed state & stress-free. I regularly update things inside of the home (such as furniture, amenities, equipment upgrades, etc), some improvements currently available may not be pictured in listing photos. BEDROOMS AND SLEEPING SPACES: - Master Bedroom Upstairs: (1) King Sized Bed with attached full bathroom - Ground Floor Bedroom #1: (2) Full Sized Beds [stored in closet (2) floor mattresses & (2) air mattresses] - Ground Floor Bedroom #2: (1) Queen Sized Bed - Loft Area Bedroom: (1) Queen Sized Pull Down Convertible Sofa - located upstairs next to master bedroom, not enclosed. - Game Room Bedroom: (1) Queen Sized Pull Down Convertible Sofa - located in basement inside game room. - Living Room: Modular sofa which can be converted into a queen sized bed Additional floor mattresses and air beds are available!
