Elegant Cozy Colonial/Private/Self Check-in

This beautiful 3800 Sq ft Colonial home was built in 1880..previously known as Sycamore Farm, and was featured in Elle Magazines 2000 Christmas edition. The Guest portion of the home is an attached carriage house. The first floor features a large 1134 Sq ft living space that is dedicated entirely to guests. Above it is a locked unoccupied attic. The house is very private and secluded, and is surrounded by bamboo. Private driveway, with space for one vehicle. The space Step into a cozy one of a kind, high end oasis. Where you can lay your weary heads on a cloud like bed with luxurious linens. You will have all the amenities you need to include breakfast in the fridge, washer and dryer. We also provide Le occitane en Provence bath products, and scent free options for those sensitive to fragrance. We can assure you, once you enter you will find it hard to leave. Take a look at our reviews :-) In the evenings you can either enjoy the outdoors with a nice glass of wine or cozy up on the comfy Chesterfield sofa in front of a 63 inch screen Smart TV. The studio is a very large open 1134 Square foot space, with plenty of space for up to 2 guests. Keep in mind this is an open concept studio, there is no private bedroom and features a king and twin sized bed. The guest studio (Carriage house) is an add on to the main house, which is where we reside. It has 2 main doors. One front door ( guest entrance) a back door to the garden and a soundproofed solid wood door ( dead bolted on both sides) that leads to an unused guest bedroom which is on our side of the home and remains locked and unoccupied while guests are staying. The guest space is solely for your enjoyment, we do not enter the space at anytime during a guests stay, and it is not shared by us or other travelers. It is furnished with beautiful Vintage and Antique furniture that we collected on our travels throughout Europe. There is a private fully stocked kitchenette with a countertop 2 burner stove. An extra large countertop Convection oven for baking ,cooking utensils and spices. We also provide a charcoal grill upon request only. Coffee, tea, water, juice ,creamer, eggs, bacon ,bagels, butter and various jams and jellies are provided for you to enjoy at no extra charge. There is a full size refrigerator, LG washing machine and dryer ( not shared) PLEASE BE ADVISED,WE DO NOT OFFER CABLE. However the Smart TV is equipped with the Amazon Prime, Netflix ,Hulu, Sling TV Apps. Because of recent unauthorized guest purchases, we unfortunately can no longer provide our log in information. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN LOG IN. The WiFi in the space is also very fast, and is perfect for business travelers. Enjoy the convenience of having all the amenities you need in a very private 1134 square foot space. Guest access You will have your own private access.The entrance to the studio space is fitted with a keypad, it features a combined living/sleeping space, dining area, kitchen and private bathroom. You will also have access to the front courtyard area and huge fenced in backyard, where you can sit in the evening and enjoy a nice glass of wine.We have a lot of birds including beautiful red Cardinals, and squirrels that will be sure to keep you entertained. Other things to note We do not have cable.However we provide internet,and a Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and Sling TV for ESPN, Lifetime, HGTV etc. Guests are required to use their own log in information to access the Apps. We have pets. Olly is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Nora is a very sweet American Pittbull Terrier, and Flossy our cat is indoor only. All very friendly. We do not allow our dogs in or near the guest studio while guests are here,as we do understand that our love for animals may not equate to our guests love for animals
