Manoir du Bois Joly - Gite du Fournil

The Manoir "Bois Joly" dates from the beginning of the 16th century. Next to Nogent-le-Rotrou (2 kms), it is in the middle of fields, meadows and woods. In the 19th, it becomes a big farm of Perche. He is then known for his important breeding Percheron horses. Since 1985, we restore it in the respect of the architecture and traditional techniques of Perche. The space The "Gîte du Fournil" is a 17th century outbuilding of the manor house. It is a large family house restored in the pure tradition of the region. On 135 m2, this independent house has all the comforts expected of a place where life is good. In a friendly atmosphere, the large dining room and its fireplace, its bread oven, recall the warm meals of yesteryear. The vaulted cellar emphasizes the freshness of this whole story. The furniture and the decoration evoke the past centuries where the footsteps of the horses punctuated the rural life ... The modern comfort of this large cottage is provided by a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Depending on the year, the heat pump diffuses its floor heating. To rest, lie down, sleep, three bedrooms and a mezzanine (with a desk) can accommodate 8 people. The high quality bedding reinforces the "cocoon" spirit of this accommodation. After crossing the vast courtyard of the manor, sheltered from the big cities, the Fournil overlooks an independent ground, raised and flowered. The Gîte du Fournil is for you! Other things to note Pool : Given climatic constraints, water restrictions and pool maintenance, access to the swimming pool is limited. We have organized a system of shared schedules for each accommodation: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Gîte du Fournil. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Caravans & Shepherd’s huts 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Gîte du Fournil. 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Caravans & Shepherd’s huts These times are a basis. They can of course be flexible depending on individual requests and weather constraints. Only ten people can swim at the same time, children are placed under the supervision of their parents.
