The space Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of access to parking, nearby bus lines, restaurants, and local parks. • Basement studio with private entrance and super easy keyless check-in (10 stairs leading down to space) • King size Casper mattress • Curated Mid Century and Modern, Industrial aesthetic • Super Fast Wifi • Partial kitchen with essentials; Nespresso coffee, microwave, mini fridge, and more • Step in shower with amenities. Hair dryer in sink drawer • Washer/dryer with laundry detergent, iron and mini ironing board • Easy and plentiful parking immediately in front of house (please do not park in the driveway) • 3-5 min walk to nearby restaurants, coffee cart/shops, and taverns • 15 min walk to University of Portland • 20 min drive to almost any part of Portland Mid Century Ranch house built in 1966 with solar panels Ample free street parking Pet-free space (cat on main floor, but no pets in the studio) LGBTQI friendly, 420 friendly outside Guest access Access the basement studio through the private entrance adjacent to the garage door. Keyless entry using an August keypad. 10 steps lead down into the studio. Other things to note The Studio is in the basement of our home; while we've diligently worked to insulate the Studio from external sound, there is still a degree of sound transmission between floors. You might hear some faint music, muffled footsteps, or the occasional cat scamper. We try to be mindful of noise, especially in the mornings and evenings (10pm-6am). The Studio is on the same HVAC system as the main house and we control the heating/cooling for the home. There is a wall-heater that is controllable in-unit and fans to help circulate air within the space. Please note that this space is only accessible by stairs and is not suitable for those with mobility concerns or those with children. The outdoor patio is a common area open to guests for both the Studio and our other listing "the Loft". Please be considerate of other guests and our neighbors when using common areas. Please review all photos prior to booking as we have tried to give a true-to-life representation of the space.
