We provide people with a cosy home for their outdoor adventures. Walk along the moss path to our private creek, curl up inside by the fireplace, or relax on the porch. We’re 2 miles from DuPont Entrance & 15 minute drive to Pisgah Forest, so hiking, biking, & trails are close. We work hard to provide a clean, vibrant space that’s not overpriced. We love giving you a home away from home! No cleaning fee. Kitchen and bathroom have essentials, including coffee, tea, and toiletries. The space Our cabin has guide books and maps to help you plan your adventures. We have an assortment of maps and guide books from our own world travels. You can hear our babbling creek as you sip coffee in the morning from the private porch (coffee provided). There’s a fire pit with outdoor chairs and starter in the cabinet. A moss-covered path treks you back to a little creek. Rabbits, deer, turkey, and the occasional bear come for visits, and our little Jack Russell, Thor, will likely pop down to say hello. You may hear residents driving up the gravel road. And let’s be honest, our kids live outdoors, so while they give you space, you may hear them squealing on swings or slaying dragons in the backyard. Your space is private and nothing shared, as the main home is on a separate terrace of the property. We respect your privacy & always have guests that do the same. We have gathered our top recommendations inside the cabin, and on our Food & Fun Guide, so please feel free to reference those as you plan your trip. Bring your tablet or computer to sync up to our WiFi for any movie watching, work time, or internet access. We have a tv with a firestick. We have Roku TV and Netflix available. If you have Dish, you can sign in with your account. The cabin has a NEW look- from the fresh coat of paint outside, to a brand new bathroom, and fresh floors, which we did with all our guests in mind. These cool the cabin in summer, and heat the cabin in the fall. They’re easily set from two locations with remotes. Additionally, a gas fireplace creates ambiance and can toast the cabin up in a moment with the remote. Directions for use are in cabin’s green manual!
