This 1885 landmark Cape, provides cozy accommodations, a fenced yard and views of Casco Bay. Just a few steps from the Prom offering trails, tennis, playground, boat launch, beach, kayak rentals, and food trucks. A short walk/bus to the bustling Old Port and downtown. No parties, pets, smoking or excessive noise at this venue, pease. The space The house is unique as it is situated facing the promenade and Casco Bay. When it was built in 1855, it had no structures between it and the shoreline. It was recently granted landmark status, and identified as the Almira E and James B Newell House, an early working class structure. You can still see the bay from the kitchen table, the porch or the livingroom. Guest access The whole house is for your exclusive use with the exception of a storage room which contains the owner's things. The cellar is not part of the rental. Other things to note The yard is a shared space which may be used by guests and owner, but your privacy will not be disturbed. Registration Details 20185327-ST
