Como House, Tortolita Mountains Foothills

This 900 sq. ft. Casita is nestled in the foothills of the Tortolita Mts. NW of Tucson, near the main house but with its own amenities, including solar panels on the roof, tasty well water from >1,000 ft. depth, speedy reliable wi-fi and internet-enabled large-screen TV. The views from huge picture windows are gorgeous, especially to the north and west. Native plantings are of numerous indigenous and exotic cactus species, and other native bushes and trees. We love it and think you will too. The space Fully equipped kitchen, pleasant dining/living room with large flat screen TV, modern furnishings including Brazilian granite countertops in kitchen and bathroom, and a general "homey" feel throughout. We provide a few continental breakfast supplies, including tea, coffee, bread, milk, eggs, and some fruit to get you going for the first few days. Please let us know if you have special needs, such as no lactose, etc. Guest access The casita is yours. There is a pleasant pool and spa near the main house, a short night-lit walk. But, the pool is chilly about October through April, as it is not heated. Just let us know an hour before if you wish the spa heated, the pool and spa lit, etc. The entire 3-acre lot is yours to roam as you wish, and let us know if you wish us to give names and natural history notes on anything. Other things to note Washer and dryer are provided in the Casita free for guest's use.
