The space Large 70s modern home. Recently renovated and expanded, bright and spacious 4 bed, 2 bath, secluded house in the woods. Our stylish, light-filled house is like a cabin in the woods, but bigger, with plenty of space and lofty ceilings. The house is located on a private gravel dead end road in a lush, quiet wooded setting. There are several stone walls through the trees -- great for exploring. The house has an open floor plan with wood floors throughout. There is a large kitchen and dining area with high ceilings and exposed beams adjoining a living room bathed in natural light and equipped with a wood burning stove, HDTV, and record player. Leading from the living room is a large deck with a table, surrounded by trees providing ample shade, perfect for outdoor dining. There is also a hot tub, grill, herb garden and fire pit. The house has skylights throughout. The master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a 6 foot claw foot tub and walls of local pine; there is a private deck attached to this bedroom. Another bedroom has a king bed with a wood burning stove, desk and a private deck. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and queen bed and has toys, games and instruments. The last bedroom has a full bed. The house is perfect for a large group. NOTE: Although the house comfortably sleeps 10, we list the max cap at 8 because we rely on a well. Ten people flushing toilets and taking showers can result in temporary water outages. We ask that guests use water conservatively. If water does run out, just wait an hour or so for the well to replenish. We keep a back up water supply in the laundry room. Amenities include: wifi, Apple TV, Netflix, hot tub, laundry room, dishwasher, microwave, 2 wood burning stoves, BBQ, fire pit JULY AND AUGUST: 1 week minimum, Friday check in. Out of respect for our peaceful, private setting and our neighbors, parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited.
