Top O' The Stairs

This charming and cozy second floor one bedroom apartment, which accommodates up to 3, is located in downtown Gettysburg within a five minute walk of major attractions, restaurants and the battlefield. We are located on a quiet residential street. Yet, within 5 minutes walk, you can be at the square where the action is or Baltimore St. where you can find ghost tours, carriage rides, and more.... The space Newly renovated, spacious one-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a private residential home. It has its own separate entrance. The stairs are a little steep for some people. Apartment is fully furnished with full kitchen and bathroom with a tub and shower. The kitchen provides the option to prepare full meals. Kennie's Supermarket is within walking distance and the Giant Market - at the east edge of town - is a 2 min. drive. A Keurig is available. Complimentary bottled water, house coffee and tea, plus individual creamers, sugar, and Splenda packets, and pastries are provided. Guests are invited to bring their own favorite Keurig compatible pods of coffees, teas, etc. The apartment has a washer and dryer to be used at your disposal. We have Wi-Fi available. We have a TV in the living room, kitchen and the bedroom, all with Roku sticks. We pay for you to have Netflix. Heating and cooling is from a newly installed central A/C unit and is controlled by you. Guest access Guests will have a separate entrance to the 2nd floor apartment. Yard is private, young kids and pets at play, so the gates need to stay closed. That means you will have to walk around to access your apt. entrance from the front street, not through the yard. We do have a pet on property- a friendly gray cat named Marley. A small, outdoor table and chairs near the apartment's entrance are available for guests to have breakfast or even cocktails. Other things to note Check-in is from 3-10 p.m. at your convenience, but I will not be available till 5 p.m. Check out time is at 10 a.m. The couch in the living room is a futon that drops down into a bed 45 x 75. If you are able to strip the bed before you leave that would be wonderful! Just throw the sheets and pillowcases in the hamper that is located in the closet. Please use only the unscented detergent and unscented fabric softener provided for you if you have any laundry to do. The yard is private. We have young kids and pets playing so the gate needs to stay closed. Your entrance is accessed from the front.
