Basement Apt. sleeps 4 with a queen and full bed

Our neighborhood is a good access point to many places in York and we know our way around, so we will happily share what we know about our area. The apartment is located a few blocks away from York University and just a short walk to downtown. I have weekly and monthly discounts for long stays. See our other listings to accommodate more people. The space Our basement space has one bedroom with a queen size bed and one non-conforming room (basically means it doesn't have an egress window) with a full size bed. Both of these rooms have great closet space available. Kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, microwave, blender, coffee pot, etc., but does not include a dishwasher. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer and more storage space. This listing is pet friendly but is limited to 1 pet. NOTE: Our basement does have infloor heat. If you get cold, the thermostat is located on the pole behind the door in the room with the walk-in closet. It could take a few hours to heat up but do know it can get quite warm downstairs so you might just want to turn it up slightly at first and adjust from there. There are 3 TVs in the apartment: 42" in the common space, and 32" in the other rooms, all equipped with Roku, prime video, Pureflix, etc. There are also a few games and puzzles for use. Although this is a basement apartment, we tried to make it so it doesn't feel like one. Guest access The apartment is 750 sq. ft. fully contained and private from the main house. Our guests will have their own entrance off the driveway with a key pad upon entering. There is also 1 parking space for our guests located on the driveway. Any additional parking needs will have to be on the street and no more than 2 vehicles total (1 on driveway and 1 on street). NOTE: Guests are also welcome to our shared backyard and patio, along with a barbecue grill (just please let us know ahead of time if you want to use the grill). Other things to note PLEASE READ: Well trained and behaved dogs, cats, and their owners are welcome. Limit of 1 pet. Please no pets sleeping on the beds. I have dog beds or a kennel available upon request. Our home is not handicap accessible so if you need help in using stairs, this home is probably not for you. To the best of my knowledge our basement is stocked with the necessities you should need. If there is something you feel is missing, please let me know and I will try and accommodate you. There are extra paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex) along with extra towels, trash bags, etc. stored in the laundry room. These items are for the apartment only and are not to be taken out of the apartment or given away or sold. Our basement does have infloor heat. NOTE: When using the clothes dryer, DON'T FORGET to empty the lint trap after each use. Also do not wash whites with darks. Whites should be washed separately. Personally, we use our towels more than once to conserve water and also limit our showers to 10 - 20 minutes. If you would do the same, it would be appreciated. Not mandatory, but appreciated. There are two trash bins outside you can use to dump your trash. The can closest to our stairs is the recycling bin which you are welcome to use for recycled items. No glass or plastic bags in the recycling bin please. Garbage gets picked up on Friday mornings and recycling gets picked up on Tuesday mornings. I don't plan on cleaning until after my guests leave. There is an extra set of sheets in the closets of each room if you would like fresh sheets. I will strip the bedding and gather up the towels upon your departure. Thank you for staying with us.
