Description

LAKE SHELBYVILLE GET AWAY The BLACKLOG CORNER COTTAGE is a quaint little cottage that gets its name from an old school that used to sit on this corner way back in the day when kids walked "up hill" both ways to school with no shoes on in the dead of winter...... so that's how the old story goes. It also sits on the old road that went from Shelbyville to Vandalia back in the "dirt road" days. Today the corner's roads are called Co. Road 1005 North and Illinois State highway 128. The space The cottage is nestled among trees with a peaceful country setting. There's a patio, fire pit, and charcoal grill. It has ample parking for many vehicles, boats, and trailers and has a stocked fishing pond just a short walk from your door for your enjoyment. There is vehicle parking at the pond as well if you do not want to walk. There is a full eat in kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you will need to prepare a delicious meal. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator so you can stock your own food and beverages. There is a stand-up shower in the bathroom and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The cottage has one bedroom with 1 queen bed.
