Alpaca Farmstay & Dark Skies in the PA Wilds

Unique farm-stay experience; a private fully furnished upstairs apartment above an alpaca barn. In addition to our Huacaya alpaca herd, you will encounter dairy goats, chickens, ducks and barn cats as well as wildlife sightings of deer, turkey, elk or black bear! West Creek Rails to Trails abuts the farm and on clear nights experience unbelievable stargazing from the deck. Enjoy an off-the-grid stay while you explore the wonders of the Pennsylvania Wilds-Lumber Heritage-Dark Skies region. The space No TV or WIFI and sketchy cell phone service - this is your time to decompress! Roosters don't always sleep at night! In addition to farm noises, some farm smells are to be expected. Summer can be hot and know there is no A/C. 2 ceiling fans and 2 box fans provided. Open windows at night to let cool air in and close in the morning. Winter guests remark how toasty warm their stay was. If our schedules allow, we enjoy showing you around the farm, meet the animals, visit our apple orchard, vegetable garden, beehives... Guests rave about their star-watching experiences from the deck, comparable to their Dark Skies experience at Cherry Springs State Park. With advance notice bicycles are available for rental @ $10/day for use on the adjacent West Creek Rails to Trails. Guest access The apartment is NOT a shared space - only you and up to 5 other guests will have access during your stay.
