If you are enthusiastic as a chef and want to indulge in your "home cookin" or you'd like to entertain a small group you're all set up. There is no additional charge for use of the well-apportioned kitchen! EXTRA: if you wish to consider YOUR custom, pre-stocked goods to be already in the unit upon your arrival, we can make that service available with your special request. Just let us know; you provide the list and at cost plus a reasonable $25 service fee we can have it waiting for you . Or...bring your own groceries or just explore the many and varied area eateries. Pleasant landscaping with eye-comforting environment. Excellent access, individual parking space near security light. Nicely graveled driveway. Additional temporary parking space uphill toward the barn for your visitors. Guest access Please note...graveled driveway, for safety's sake, motorcycle riders should use alternate entry gate...second entry from Shorty Campbell Rd. Note also, the entire cottage is available to the guest(s). The building is essentially an entry hallway, private shower bathroom and a blended common area for sleeping, living room and kitchen/dining. Additional cots with memory foam mattress are available. The yard is shared with the owner. Ample, special outdoor space near the cottage is designed for guests' leisure and enjoyment including outdoor seating, swing set and other amenities. The property's 2+ acres offer great opportunity to walk-about in the meadow-like yard or even stroll among some small woodland spots. Other things to note This cottage has been utilized by 5 adults and a couple of kids; it most comfortably will accommodate 2 or 3 adults plus 2 or 3 small children; and, of course, short term additional, non-staying visitors are welcome. In addition to listed Queen & Sofa beds there are 2 adult size cots, a "pak 'n' play" style playpen and plenty of fresh, clean linens. Sturdy swing set for kids...of all ages or grand kids (with chairs for tending adults). There is a grill for guests behind the cottage, wooden chairs and table 'neath the nearby apple tree and 2 other nifty little/table arrangements in front of and beside the cottage at which to relax for coffee, snax & conversation, or what have you. Enjoy a stroll to explore 2 acres of grassy meadows and woodland hillside. The large firepit may be used by specific arrangement with the host. The owners' home, garage, wellhouse, toolshed, barn, yard-care equipment and other outbuildings are private; are not part of the vacation-rental and therefore restricted to "by invitation/approval" only, thank you. ADDITIONAL PARKING for guests' visitors is through the second gateway off Shorty Campbell Road; then stone steps available down to cottage.
