Beautiful, cozy Log Home, located in Downtown Grand Lake, just steps away from restaurants, bars, shops, trails and lake activities. Walking distance to everything there is to do in town, across from the town parking lot where you can park your trailer, boat or large vehicle for the whole duration of your stay. Built in 1901 and constantly renovated to keep up with our guests needs. Newly added Hot Tub (see house rules) lets you enjoy the fresh mountain air in the comfort of a 100 degree tub. The space Our home provides a unique experience, the rustic log frame and wood paneling takes you to some much simpler times while stepping inside brings a smile to your face since the space is not at all what you'd expect while outside looking in. Throughout the years, the home has been remodeled multiple times, so it brings interesting details to surface, details that just amplify the uniqueness of the space. We take our guests suggestions very seriously since guest satisfaction is a high priority so you might be surprised that by your next visit some of them might have been implemented. Guest access Guests can use main house and yard. Included with the package is access to Sonos sound system, unlimited internet, Netflix, Hulu, USB charging stations, dumpster and other things. Other things to note *****Sep 1st 2025- The Town of Grand Lake has commenced construction of the new “Space to Create” development across the street from us and there might be heavy equipment working near by****** Our home is more than a century old so you might understand that all that personality comes with a few things to note: -The stairs or floors might crack when stepped on-they have been re-finished so don’t worry, they won’t break. -When not using, please fold the patio umbrella, we get bursts of wind that can literally throw it around on the deck. (Summer) -Please avoid smoking on the hammock.(Summer) -No shoes on the patio furniture. (Summer) -No sounds amplification of any kind on the outside of the home. -We offer a radiant baseboard heating system so please make sure to keep your distance since pipes can get hot. -All bedrooms are located on the second or third floor of the home-walking up stairs will be required. Summer or 2021 the town of Grand Lake repaved Park Avenue. During this project, directly in front of our home, instead of parking spots, there is a little landscaping island. You can park to it’s left, to it’s right or anywhere else on Park Ave, it’s all free town parking. Disclaimer for families with infants or young children: Staircases do not have childproof gates, no childproof cabinet locks, no outlet covers. You assume all risk and liability for your child during your stay at this property. No standing, sitting or climbing on railings, fence or roof. -The newly added hot tub is a great feature to have especially for the chill summer evenings or snowy winter days. However please note, while using the hot tub: -No Pets in Hot Tub -No unattended minors in Hot Tub -No Hot Tub use after 10pm -Hot Tub must be covered and locked while not in use -No glassware in the Hot Tub -Please make sure you take a quick shower or rinse off before entering Hot Tub -No soap/Lotion/Bubble bath/Bath Salts/Color/Spa Scents/Dried Herbs/Tea etc, There will be a $150 extra cleaning fee associated with any of the above to cover for emptying, cleaning and filter replacements.
