A beautiful grade 2 listed cottage with it's stunning features in the lovely village of Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons. Not only is the cottage close to the River Usk but we are surrounded by breath taking walks and jaw dropping mountain views. Numerous pubs, restaurants, tea rooms plus independent shops on the door step plus the village of Crickhowell (which was awarded as having Britain's best high street!) has much to offer as does the surrounding area which is all very accessible. The space A homely cottage that's light, airy and situated in the centre of Crickhowell. Recently refurbished offering 2 well-presented double bedrooms with standard sized comfy double beds. There is a good size bathroom with bath and a separate toilet. The ground floor offers a pretty lounge, a welcoming dining room for 4 and a functional cosy kitchen. Free high speed WIFI and all the mod cons that are sure to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable! There is a small rear courtyard with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee! A great base to explore the local scenic Brecon Beacons National Park and soak up the atmosphere of this pretty market town Guest access The location of the property means that the local area can easily be reached by foot. Free parking is available for cottage guests less than a minutes walk alternatively there is limited free parking around the village We can recommend many places to eat, grab a coffee and of course some stunning walks. The views in the area are outstanding. We have many favourites for great welsh hospitality and whether you pop in for a coffee or have a meal you will always be welcomed. Additionally, cottage guests can opt for a hearty Welsh breakfast for £10 per person at the Dragon Inn Hotel. There is a bus service from Crickhowell Square into Abergavenny town centre (8 miles away) which has a lovely market and large array of shops. The bus also goes in the opposite direction into Brecon town centre with more shops, cafes and restaurants and of course there are many gorgeous walks along the canal.
