This large and lovely 1 bedroom apartment, located on the 2nd floor of an owner-occupied 1925 Arts & Crafts brick building, is an ode to Pittsburgh’s own Andy Warhol. There are framed Warhol prints throughout, and the wonderful Warhol Museum is less than 10 minutes away via car/Uber—or the corner bus will drop you on its doorstep in 20! (PNC Park, Heinz Field and downtown Pittsburgh are reached in same way/time.) Within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, brewery, bakery, park, etc. The apartment is located on the second floor—there are approximately 8 steps up from street to walkway, then 3 short sets of stairs (about 6 steps each) to the Airbnb. Spacious but cozy, there’s approximately 750 square feet of living space, with a living room, bedroom, dining room, and of course, the kitchen and bathroom. The living room, hallway and bedroom are carpeted (thus the NO SHOES POLICY); there’s a queen bed in bedroom, and a convertible sofa in the living room (it’s is on the small side/suitable for 1 person). NOTE: NO PETS, NO SMOKING, and NO CHILDREN UNDER 12, please. Self contained apartment I live in the building and am usually around and happy to answer questions. Quiet after 10 pm Just north of downtown Pittsburgh, the Bellevue neighborhood is home to great restaurants (the upscale Revival on Lincoln is just down the street, with Greek, Thai, Chinese and Italian all within walking distance, as well as 2 great diners, a brewery, coffee bar, bakery and a vegan donut shop!), stores, park, and a fab farmers market on summer/fall Wednesday afternoons. There’s plenty of street parking, and the stadiums, downtown, the Warhol Museum and several other places of interest can be reached in 10 minutes or less by car. If you’re not into driving, there are 3 different buses that will get you to PNC Park, Heinz Field and downtown in 20-30 minutes, including one at the end of the block. Note: Living room, hall and bedroom are carpeted. Please remove shoes to help maintain cleanliness—there is a shoe/boot tray at apartment’s entrance. Fire escape/area outside kitchen door is off-limits unless used to take your trash down to the bins, though you can open door to air out if cooking. No pets or children under 12.
