The pond provides a beautiful view but is not accessible. The home has been continuously improved over the years with updated furniture, newer mattresses, expanded kitchen supplies, and other upgrades based on guest feedback. Inspired by the mountains of North Carolina, Mountain Vibes features warm, rustic décor that reflects the charm of a cozy mountain cabin. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly place that feels like home, you'll fit right in. If you're expecting a luxury resort or brand-new designer home, this probably isn't the best match. The Road: The final quarter mile to the property is a private dirt and gravel road. It's easily traveled by most cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. Guests with very low sports cars or lowered vehicles may prefer to use extra caution. We provide enough basic supplies to help you get settled in, but if you're staying more than a few days, please plan to purchase additional items as needed. We provide: • Basic bed linens for each bed (plus the sleeper sofa, if applicable) • Bath towels for up to 7 guests • Basic kitchenware and cookware • Enough laundry and dishwasher detergent for approximately 1 to 2 loads • A starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, and other household essentials Items such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are sometimes available, but we cannot guarantee they will be stocked upon arrival. If you're planning an extended stay, you'll need to bring your own preferred toiletries, paper products, laundry detergent, trash bags, and other personal or household supplies. ***We also recommend bringing your favorite pillows or blankets if you have specific comfort preferences.
