Beautiful lakefront property with clear and clean water. Our main cottage is true to its name... A COTTAGE - a piece of nostalgia, a space to relax and make beautiful memories with your family and friends. Our shoreline is shallow which is perfect for families with young children and doggies. That is right, doggies. Our cottage is pet-friendly. There is limitations on the number allowed but furry members deserve a vacation too. The space 2 bedroom + den cottage with a lakeside cabin that has additional sleeping quarters. Cottage is open floor plan with dining room, living room and kitchen. Lakeside cabin offers the convenience of water access and water fun right at your doorstep. Our property is situated on a quiet lake and private fire route with no through traffic. It is big enough to enjoy privacy from neighbours. Enjoy a host of activities on the property and in the area. Some things you can enjoy: *Buckhorn locks - there are some picnic benches to enjoy a nice lunch and watch the boats go through. It can get really busy there so it is first come / first serve *Local beach - you can drive there (about 1 minute around the lake) OR walk (about 10 minutes) and spend the afternoon there. Not necessary as we are a waterfront property but just another option to enjoy our Great Lake. *We have a canoe, kayak, paddleboards, floating dock and various cottage activities that come with the rental. *Golfing *Pick Your Own Farm **We have an additional document for all renters to complete and information that we share with confirmed renters that will provide a host of information about the property and area** Guest access Parking is available on the gravel area outside the main cottage. Other things to note All renters who are accepted are required to complete a small application, review the rules and sign paperwork and send back to us via email. This email will also include all you need to know during your stay. Rental Deposit: $400.00 security deposit is required at time of booking. This does not apply to AirBnB bookings. Cleaning Fee: $175.00 We provide complimentary propane for the BBQ. Renters are required to bring their own firewood. Noise Complaint Policy: Should we receive a complaint regarding high noise levels, foul language that is not kept to your personal space and/or disorderly conduct your rental will be terminated immediately. We are part of a beautiful cottage area and we want to ensure we respect our neighbours and fellow families that rent.
