Living room is filled w/ natural light from large windows, open concept & brandnew kitchen appliances, fully stock, comfortable beds. Welcome to our Blue Skye's Cottage Skye is our daughter's nickname. The house is bright and cheerful just like our little Skye. Every aspect of the house has been remodeled to breath new life into our blue cottage. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting by our large and bright windows with a warm cup of coffee watching the snow falling outside or just finishing one or two chapters from your favorite books. Better yet, coffee is on the house ;) While our home is equipped to host 8 guests, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. We are happy to host 8, but keep in mind, it will be a little cozier. Our home has 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms are located upstairs with large windows. When it is time for a nap or time to hit cloud nine, know that our bedrooms will be waiting for you with comfy memory foam mattresses and soft fluffy pillows. Sure, eating at finest restaurant can be fun. But sometimes, all we need is a night in with nice home-cooked meal, right? That is why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner. Our driveway can accommodate up to 3 cars. While I am not available to greet you in person, please note that I am only a phone call away. Our home is located within the southern edge part of the infamous 19th Ward and within walking distance to Genesee Valley Park. This well-maintained and quiet neighborhood contains many tree-lined streets filled with one and two family homes and a scattering of small apartment complexes. The neighborhood prides itself on its racial, ethnic and economic diversity; university professors, students, city officials. You will even find a religious compound and a retirement home in close proximity, both on Thurston Road. The 19th Ward is well serviced by the city bus system and includes three exits on Interstate 390 (17, 18B and 19). It is also close to RIT, St. Mary's Hospital, the Greater Rochester International Airport, and the main campus of the University of Rochester Medical Center. Besides our long driveway which can accommodate up to 3 cars, there are plenty of street parking available in the neighborhood. Our detached garage needs a new door installed and some minor works. As such, please do not use the garage or go inside the garage.
