Cedar Island Beachfront Cottage

Adorable, quaint cottage! The cottage only sleeps 6. It features one master bedroom with a queen mattress, a second bedroom with a full mattress, one full bathroom, an upstairs loft area with a twin day bed and twin trundle bed, and an upstairs half bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. A Keurig coffee maker is provided. Hickory floors run throughout the home. The screened-in porch offers a full-size hanging swing to look out at the fantastic water views of the Pamlico Sound and North Bay and watch the sunset. The cottage features an outdoor shower and eating area so you can enjoy the peace and quiet the island offers. Close access to sandy beaches and a public boat ramp is less than 100 yards away. Great spot for fishing, boating, and swimming. Horseback riding is offered at the local campground, Cedar Island Resort. Day trips are easy to Cape Lookout National Seashore, Harkers Island, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, and Ocracoke. Please check individual websites, if interested, for activities and hours of service. The Cedar Island ferry is a short walk from our Cottage. There are two small kayaks and one full-size kayak for your use, as well as fishing rods and tackle, a gas grill, and an outdoor eating area. If you are looking for a place to relax and recharge, without the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. We do have wi-fi but it can be slow and spotty at times. I love offering my home and this beautiful, quiet, remote, and relaxing island for others to enjoy. Please bring your own beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, and insect spray. No pets or smoking.
