This cottage was built in 1855 and in January of 2017 was completely renovated while keeping it's historic feel with an artistic flair, and hence, the Home at Harkness was born! Everything you need here here, from top-notch design and furnishings, 24-hour support and check in, WiFi, pet and children’s amenities. We consider our place a "home away from home." Bringing a baby? No Problem! We have a crib, highchair, baby products, and baby bookFirst floor requires no stairs and has an easily accessible bathroom, shower, bedroom, kitchen and TV. Adult getaway weekend? We have a fenced in yard with a patio and grill, beautiful pergola, garden, and outdoor couch and seating. Walk to some of Providence's best bars, restaurants, theaters and safely stumble home! Pack lightly because we are abundantly stocked! Blankets, snacks, body and spa products, NETFLIX, tons of board games, outdoor games, the list goes on! We have outdoor outlets for cars that need to be charged via electricity that you may use freely. Private driveway fits 4 cars and you have 24 hour access. No one else but you and your guests use the driveway, backyard, and home during your stay. Other things to note The home is heated by Nest Thermostat and cooled by home air conditioners. Please be mindful and turn off the appliances when you leave, including the lights.
