Home in Lubec

This beautifully restored home is in the village of Lubec, Maine -- on a quiet side street that looks out over Cobscook Bay. It features a huge deck with a 160-degree view of over 25 islands. We have been renting since 1999 and thus most of our weeks are booked by regulars but we usually have some periods available, especially before July or after August. The space The main floor of the house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, a front porch, side porch, carport, and a deck. On the second floor there are two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, one with a double bed), a small office, a bathroom, and a laundry room. Next to the deck there is a second living room that has a sleeping loft (with single and double beds), a futon-bed/couch, and another bathroom. Everything is in very good condition and we are constantly making improvements: most recently new floors upstairs. Guest access The whole house is yours and more importantly you will love exploring the area. A five- to ten-minute walk will bring you to the town landing -- with its breakwater (where a dozen seals often play in the tidal currents) and the SummerKeys Music program. It's a 15-minute walk (or a five-minute drive) to Roosevelt Campobello International Park, and the beginning of a shore trail that stretches almost ten miles along the coast. And several state, national, and provincial parks and refuges are within a 20-minute drive. Most of our guests have been staying with us for ten or more years. Please note that we typically rent by the week (Sunday to Sunday) from May through October.
