Temp controls To circulate indoor with outdoor air during summer/fall months, we will open a few windows on the ground floor during day time (9am-6pm) hours. Please don’t open the windows yourself on the first/ ground floor because our cat can get out!! We will open windows during day, given that the outdoor temperature is between 50 -75 degrees. On hot days (above 75 degrees), the a/c might be turned on. Please note that there is a portable-floor a/c and fans inside your room. Feel free to turn them on or off for your comfort. Also note that a/c and heating controls are located on the ground floor wall by the stairwell. Two things to keep in mind: these controls are for the entire house, not just your room (please be aware and courteous to others); and please don’t lower the temperature below 65 during the summer and don’t raise the temperature above 74 during the winter. Going beyond these temperatures will blow the a/c motor, a very expensive repair job. Drinking/Smoking You are welcome to have a drink inside your room only.
