Hillsdale supplies great outdoor activities including hiking (Bash Bish and High Falls), skiing and adventure park as well as golfing, kayaking and boating. There are local restaurants only a short walk from the guest house as well as a food market for those who prefer to dine in. Culturally the area is home to the Rockwell Museum, The Clark, Chesterwood, OMI and Tanglewood as well as multiple summer stock theaters. Entertainment (movies, music, etc.) can be found with a quick and scenic drive to Great Barrington or Hudson where you'll also discover another collection of pubs, taverns and more opportunities for fine dining. What could be better as Hillsdale provides a central starting point for everything the Berkshires/Taconics have to offer. A personal car is a must up here.
