The space Modern apartment in townhouse building with high ceilings, right on Capitol Hill in walking distance to the Capitol Building and Eastern Market/8th Street restaurants. There are about 6-8 steps outside to enter building, then my unit is one flight up and inside it is 2-level so additional stairs. There are no elevators in building. This two-level apartment provides plenty of room for guests to spread out. Ideal for a family or friends’ weekend in the city! There is a hair dryer, iron, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. There is also coffee, creamer and Splenda packets and I try to make sure some snacks like granola bars and popcorn as well. If stairs are an issue, please note there is no elevator and there are 6-8 steps outside building to enter, then one flight up to my unit, and inside my unit one flight up to second floor bedrooms. Bus stop is right in front of my building, Metro few blocks away at Eastern Market and 2 blocks down on 8th and Capitol there is a bike rental place, plus scooters. Trader Joe’s is just few blocks away on Pennsylvania Ave & 7th, plus 2 mini-grocery stores are on East Capitol St by 5th and 4th Streets as walk to Capitol building.
