Other things to note Beso del Sol is located in Santa Marianita on Playa Bonita, a fishing village just 15 kms southwest of the city of Manta. There are numerous small shops (tiendas), a pharmacy, and restaurants within walking distance of Beso del Sol. Santa Marianita is famous for being a world class location for kite boarding. There are three kite boarding schools along the beach that offer lessons and rental equipment.
