Beautiful cabin on Sugar Mountain
Description
Rustic but spacious cabin on eight acres of land, with creek and pond in the back. On the undeveloped side of Sugar Mountain - away from the noise, but still close to everything! The space Eight Acres is nestled on Sugar Mountain, just outside Newland, North Carolina. For a quiet getaway where you can relax in rustic comfort, wander among the old apple trees and explore nature's bounty, or drive minutes to explore antique stores, the majestic Grandfather Mountain or Linville Gorge, Eight Acres is a convenient respite from our busy lives. The cabin stands on the plot of Martin Banner's homestead, the original settler of Sugar Mountain. The current structure was built in 1989 out of pine and chestnut. Bottom floor has bedroom with two twin beds, bathroom with shower, washer/dryer, full kitchen, dining and living areas. Pull-out couch in living room can sleep another two people. Upstairs is bedroom with queen-size bed, full bath. Deck out back spans the entire length of the house. Cabin is on the "quiet" side of Sugar Mountain. On the other side are the ski resort, Banner Elk, and other cute towns worth discovering. Guest access The entire house and property is yours. You will not be sharing with anyone else. Other things to note If we're running low on anything - toilet cleaner, paper towels, dishwasher cleaner, clothes detergent, please let me know. Thanks. We have had some issues with guests not complying with the house rules of cleaning up after themselves. To help with this, we are having the cabin cleaned each week. This does NOT absolve guests from cleaning up after themselves and wash any sheets and towels they use, as there are times we will not be able to clean before the next guests arrive. Hopefully this will help reduce the number of guests that have to spend time cleaning up after others. No one likes to do that. We appreciate your cooperation.
