The spacious open floor plan and vaulted ceiling, designed by architect Dennis Norman, makes this place one of a kind! Bordering the forest at the end of the road you are in a secluded oasis located at the top of the hill above Manzanita. With skylights, fabulous kitchen, big wood stove, and cozy bedroom loft, hear the distant surf and the rain on the roof as you wake up or doze off . Yet only minutes away from Manzanita and the beach. The space Some of our favorite reviews : Alex Christa provides an absolutely magical, creative space that's perfect for an artist or writer's retreat. The beds and furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The place is well equipped, with thoughtful touches like an electric kettle with precise temperature settings. There was ample firewood for the wood stove, which along with several space heaters kept the place warm even on chilly nights. But the real treat is the distinctive structure itself. It felt like hanging out under a giant wooden beach umbrella! Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful up there. Hikes and beach walks are minutes away. I stayed during the COVID-19 pandemic but found it easy to maintain social distance in the area while staying active. Highly recommended! Astrid The Treetop Chalet completely exceeded my expectations. This place is a special gem. It's spotless, impeccably maintained and has all the things one needs to settle right in and feel comfy after a long day at the beach: well stocked kitchen, snuggly blankets, fluffy pillows! Guest access Park just facing the address/ welcome sign. Take the little path on your left to your private front yard, front porch and entryway. Up a 1/2 flight of stairs, you will find the open spaciousness of the main floor and further an upstairs loft. Other things to note we will leave you firewood and lay a fire for you in the woodstove. And we'll leave additional wood for you on the front stairs.
