There is also the very modern Museum of Perfumery and the Maison Fragonard historical perfume factory, great for children. In the vicinity of the house, going towards Valbonne or Plascassier, there are lovely restaurants and little shopping areas where you can get everything without needed to go to a big supermarket. Definitely don’t miss the small Provencal villages inland – Chateauneuf-de-Grasse, Gourdon, Opio, Tourettes-sur-Loup, and Saint-Cezaire hold great surprises, with a lot going on during summer evenings . Valbonne apprx 13km you will find numerous banks, travel agents, shops, wine merchants, cafes on the square, many restaurants and cafe-bars, a British style pub open in the evenings, and a wonderful Friday market. Cannes apprx 22km - beach with activities such as Waterskiing, Diving and Sailing. The picturesque village of Mougins is approximately 16km. It was made famous as the last home of Picasso until his death in 1973. Beautiful Museum of Classic Art. St Paul de Vence, apprx 28km drive, is a castellated village, famous for it s artist studios and Renoir the Impressionist painter spent many years painting there. Antibes apprx 31km and has the Marineland complex and Aquapark with water slides - ideal for families. The old town of Antibes is a lovely place to visit with it s charming shops and good choice of restaurants.
