For a quick walk to downtown Champaign, look no further. We're a 2 story home w. 3 bedrooms + 1.5 bathrooms — it is sweet, cozy + ready for long term stays. DOWNSTAIRS: Living room, kitchen, dining room, kitchen + sunroom Bedroom #1: 1 Queen sized bed w/ new Sealy mattress + linens UPSTAIRS: Bathroom #2: Shower (stall size) only, toilet + vanity. Bedroom #2: 2 Twin beds w/ new Sealy mattresses + linens. Perfect for kids. Bedroom #3: 1 Queen bed w/ new Sealy mattress + linens w. Pack 'N Play The space If you are traveling with children or infants, we have: books; toys (baby + toddler); an easel with crayons; a permanent crib or toddler bed; the option to have a Pack 'N Play; the option to add a baby gate at the top of the stairs + a locking door at the bottom of the steps; high chair; plates, cups, and utensils; and other necessities for the littles when on the road. Our home was built in 1878 and has quirks like any older home might. She's got good bones. We ♥ what we do + hope you do, too. Each bedroom has a window A/C unit. Downstairs Bedroom #1 has a Queen sized bed on the first floor with blackout blinds and room for a Pack 'N Play to be set up. Upstairs Bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds and is a perfect spot for kids with books and some toys. Upstairs Bedroom #3 has a Queen sized bed with blackout blinds and a Room + Board adjustable crib or toddler bed with an organic mattress, and an additional Queen sized air mattress stored in the closet. The basement is unfinished. You can use our washer + dryer. It has all original hardwood flooring (with exception of a few rooms); a secluded backyard with a privacy fence; a washer + dryer in the unfinished basement; a foodie-friendly kitchen with a Nespresso, a selection of whole bean coffee and a coffee maker or mini French press; 1.5 bathrooms (full bathroom upstairs w/ shower stall only -no bathtub + half bathroom is on the 1st floor); off-street parking + parking available directly on the street in front of the house or in our shared driveway; office desk in our sunroom to set up your remote workspace; and we are kid-friendly and NOT pet-friendly. During the winter months, our home is heated via radiators and in the summertime, we have 3 A/C window units (in each bedroom) + the ceiling fans also move air around. We have WiFi and a smart TV with channels via a digital antenna — no cable television. Feel free to use your Netflix or Amazon Prime account through the TV as we don't provide accounts. Help yourself to our toiletries + pantry to make it easier for your stay! Guest access Guests staying at our home have access to the entire home. Other things to note All cooking necessities, toiletries, towels, and linens are provided. We also have coffee + tea available. Our washer and dryer are for your use as well + we provide free and clear detergent and fabric softener. Please lock the exterior doors + windows behind you when coming and going — for your safety and for the home's security. // No parties or events at the house will be tolerated. Will result in the immediate cancellation of your stay. Guests must be over the age of 21. If you stay longer than 7 nights, there is a cleaning fee of $50 for each additional week. Our hired staff bills us more when they cannot clean weekly. For guests who depart AFTER the set 10am checkout, an additional $100 fee will be charged. Our hired cleaning staff is on paid on a schedule and we are billed more if they cannot access the space at the proper times. We have a strict policy against indoor smoking of any kind and NO pets. Smoking on the front porch or back patio is fine. We just ask that you keep the cigarette butts in a container and nowhere else. Smoking inside the house will result in a $250 additional charge.
