Two miles from the University of Maine, Orono. A private home, 10-acre property, adjacent to walking, biking, and cross country trails. You will enjoy the privacy of the upstairs floor, 2 bedrooms, 1 loft bedroom, and loft living room. This is a beautiful Maine farm house in a private, rustic setting. Available seasonally for your use is an 18' above ground pool. In winter months, we recommend having an AWD vehicle. The space Your reservation here includes more than a private room. Whether you are a single guest or a group, the entire second floor space is included with your reservation: 3 sleeping areas, closets, a living room and private bath. We are able to fit a double bed quality air mattress in the living room space to host up to 7 guests. The shared kitchen is downstairs on the first floor, available for reheating prepared foods and simple cooking. There is a large table that seats 8. This is a quiet home on a secluded property. Seasonally we offer an 18' above ground pool. Guest access Guests are allowed to use the entire upstairs floor and loft area. Your reservation includes 3 sleeping areas, a small living room, and private bath. The downstairs KITCHEN IS SHARED, and available for making quick, simple meals. Refrigerator and freezer space is available. Laundry is allowed in an emergency. There is a laundromat one mile away. The cellar is off limits please. The deck, pool, and all outdoor yard areas are open to guests. Children require supervision. OUR POOL IS NOT GATED Only the people registered to stay are allowed to use the facilities, unless a special arrangement has been made. During your stay Because I live and work in this building, I am here most of the time. In the seasonal months, I spend most of my time outdoors. I enjoy our guests, and so do our dog and 2 cats. I am happy help you navigate the area, and find areas of interest. Other things to note If you have an allergy to dogs, cats, or chickens, or if you are uncomfortable with pets, this IS NOT the place for you.
