Has great internet, close to University of Michigan FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL etc. Great for cozy weekend getaways. Located close to Ann Arbor, small towns, vineyards, antique stores, nice restaurants and a national park. The space The cottage is on a quiet lake - except some weekends in the summer. The large deck is a perfect place for breakfast or fun dinners. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms upstairs (bunkbed and a queen size bed) and two living rooms with amazing views. On the ground floor there is another bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms with a king size trundle and a separate room with a double bed. The house is built on a hill so it isn’t best for those who have difficulties navigating stairs. Uneven heating and cooling throughout the house since it is a cottage. It is an older property and is more rustic than a typical house. Both a gas and charcoal grill is provided with the rental please purchase your own coal and clean up after use. Guest access The entire house is yours to use. This includes the backyard and front lake access. There are also kayaks, a paddle boat, and a rowboat. Grill and prep table provided during stay. Other things to note The cottage can be accessed by the front of the house to unload and then you can park in the back of the house by the green garage on the cement pad. Bedding. We have pillows, blankets, sheets, and duvets. The cottage uses well water and it is safe and clean. We have 2 kayaks and a 2 person canoe. Great for fishing or leisure. We also have a row boat. Evan’s lake resort will not allow outside boats access to the lake. The kitchen has almost everything you need to have a great weekend. A gas and charcoal grill is outside to enjoy and a fire pit is downstairs for s’mores and relaxing camp fires. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and all your cooking essentials including bowls, pots, pans and utensils. No crockpot, no Tupperware, or blender We have a washing machine and oversized dryer for bedding or to do laundry on an extended stay. No smoking No parties Be nice to our neighbors People are nice enough to leave non perishable food at the cottage. Please feel free to use if you wish or ignore if you have your own.
