The lodge is a short drive to: 3 min - BC State Park 7 min - BC Music Center. 8 min - Downtown Nashville The space Located right off State Road 46, between Columbus and Bloomington, you'll be just a short drive from all that Brown County has to offer. Perfect for a small family vacation or weekend getaway with friends, this comfortable lodge provides the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate. The ideal amount of guests would be 6 people but I can certainly fit 8 if two are willing to sleep on couches. Don't worry about parking either - ample free parking spaces are available in front of the lodge. BACKYARD: -⭐️NEW Swing Set just recently installed!⭐️ -Fire Pit -Fully enclosed private backyard. Safe for children and pets to roam freely -Grill grate for open flame cooking and Weber charcoal grill -Picnic table -Hammock underneath the tree -Cornhole set and games for children SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT: The lodge features 3 bedrooms - all with log style frames and the most comfortable mattresses. -Bedroom 1 (ensuite bathroom): Queen size bed -Bedroom 2: Full size bed -Bedroom 3: Queen size bed -Couch Sleepers: Two “Article” leather couches each measures 83.5” L x 35” W. All bedding and pillows will be provided. These are not pull out sofa beds. ENTERTAINMENT -Arcade w/ games from 80s and 90s -Foosball table -Checkers table -Board games -Smart TV COMMON AREA: The open floor plan of my lodge is ideal for entertainment or cozying up for family time. The barstools are perfect for a morning cup of coffee, giving you the chance to start your day with a gorgeous view out of the french doors onto the backyard and beyond. On cooler evenings, relax in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy being surrounded by warmth and comfort. I also offer a dedicated work space in this area so that you can do all your remote work with ease thanks to having an ample number of convenient sources for power, USB ports and high speed WiFi. After working, take some time to explore the selection of books scattered throughout the lodge. BATHROOM: The lodge has two full bathrooms. One in the master bedroom and another in the living room. Complimentary bathroom essentials provided. KITCHEN: Eating in has never been easier! With a kitchen fully equipped with everything one needs to prepare meals, there will be little to no hassle. You will have a tea bar for all your favorite brews, a coffee maker for that needed afternoon cup of joe, and a blender for those morning breakfast smoothies. But wait-- there's more! The kitchen also supplies cooking necessities such as gas stoves, children's utensils, and general basics. Come rest easy knowing all your culinary needs are met in this fabulous kitchen! LAUNDRY ROOM: After a long day of hitting the trails at Brown County State Park, use the dryer & washer should you need to wash your clothes before packing up. Basic laundry essentials are provided. STATE RD 46: The lodge sits approximately 160-ft. away from the edge of State Rd 46 which goes for 154 miles across the South Central part of Indiana. There may be times you will hear light traffic noises during your stay. CELLULAR SIGNAL: Cellular signal may not always be reliable around Brown County. Verizon will provide the best signal. I highly recommend downloading offline maps on your phone as you explore places including Brown County State Park. WINTER DRIVING: Snow tire chains and/or 4-wheel drive vehicles are highly encouraged during winter months in the event of inclement weather. I recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable to vehicles with 4WD and/or chains.
