Description
The Nautilus is a two bedroom bungalow, which has been newly renovated. Sympathetically decorated with industrial style pieces, the design of the property was inspired by the Jules Verne Novels, '20000 Leagues Under the Sea' and 'Five Weeks in a Balloon'. The property is perfect for both families and couples with a private garden provides the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Isle of Wight The space The Nautilus is a 2 bedroom Bungalow, which has it's own private garden and outdoor dining area. On arrival to The Nautilus, you will need to walk down the path to a black gate on your right, and it opens in to a spacious rear private garden. The garden is fully enclosed and has lighting for evening use. There you will find the key safe box and up the steps to the front door through to the sun lounge. The sun lounge has storage for coats, shoes or buggies, and a seating area perfect for relaxing in the late afternoon sun. Through the double doors in the kitchen / Lounge area. The lounge and kitchen is open plan making the space incredibly spacious and sociable. The kitchen includes a Jura coffee machine, Dualit toaster, microwave, oven, and gas hob/dishwasher/washing machine/fridge/freezer all for use. There is a breakfast bar/ workspace with USB’s port for charging electronics. The lounge area has seating for up to four adults on two leather Chesterfield sofas, should you wish to entertain during your stay. The space is also kitted out with a Bang Olufsen TV, featuring Amazon Prime / Disney + & Discovery for guest use. If you wish to immerse yourself further in the adventurous world of Jules Verne - the inspiration for our decor - there are two 100 year old novels stored under glass domes in the lounge, should you wish to relax with a book. There is also a good selection of other books and games suitable for all ages. Heading down the hallway you are greeted by the smaller second bedroom first; 'The Balloon Room' it has a full-sized bunk bed suitable for two children or young adults. There is also hanging space, small shelving unit with books or use for clothes, a mirror and freshly laundered towels and bedding. Further down the hall leads to the bathroom; 'The Deep Sea Creatures room' features a shower over bath, toilet, sink and vanity area. And lastly on to the larger bedroom at the front; 'The Captain's Quarters'. This bedroom includes a spacious four-poster queen bed, vanity area with hairdryer, hanging space for clothes and freshly laundered towels and bedding. There is room for a travel cot in this room Parking permits can be provided for outside on street parking, for your stay, as there is parking restrictions on the roads around The Nautilus (message me for more info) The Nautilus is a Strict No Parties / No smoking and No Pets place, this is due to allergies & being in a residential area. Please respect this when making your booking. All stays are subject to a full Covid cleaning policy and all linen towels / bathmat etc are sent off to be cleaned professionally before each stay. This is £80 per stay. Guest access Use of the whole property. Keys will be picked up via a key safe onsite. Parking directly outside the property is subjected to 2 hour restrictions (Monday - Saturday 9am-6pm), however there are no restrictions on Sundays. Free parking can be found a few roads away from The Nautilus, on Victoria Road and surrounding areas. If parking directly outside is required, we can provide paid for visitor parking permits (Subject to availability). Please contact us regarding this prior to arrival. Other things to note All stays are subject to a cleaning charge, and all linens, towels, bathmat etc are sent out to be cleaned professionally before each stay. The charge is £80 per stay.
