‘The Charleston’ welcomes you to a newly renovated, modern boho inspired beach home just 7 mins walk to the beach. Our newly added, unique 10' Stock Tank Pool is the perfect addition! Made to look like a dreamy designer house, but with all the comforts of a cozy family space, you'll instantly feel right at home in! Jax beach is one of the last hidden gems of Florida, and from our home, you can fully enjoy it's laid-back charm w/ WALKABILITY to awesome LOCAL coffee, dining, shops, park & beach. Please note: we're working on some decor updates between guests, which is why you see the inconsistency in pictures. We'll have all new professional photos taken when we're finished with the updates. We're adding a couple of our amature photos of the updates to show what's been done as we go. ‘The Charleston’ is thoughtfully set up for large families, extended families, or groups of friends to hang out together and enjoy an open concept feel living area with wet bar complete with mini fridge and bar sink. We also have a spacious, fully stocked kitchen for cooking together with a dining nook. You can choose to enjoy your meals indoors or at the outdoor dining table in the large private backyard oasis. No details were overlooked in designing this space for your full enjoyment. The backyard has a *NEW STOCK TANK POOL* with a deck. It's such a cool spot to hang out, cool off, and have some fun! It's perfect for all ages! It's perfect for adults to lounge, socialize, and enjoy a cocktail, and for the kids of all ages to swim, splash, and play games! It's a unique pool experience our guests are loving! There is also a large patio with café lights, a brand new grill, outdoor dining table and chairs, and a seating area with comfy patio furniture. The backyard is large with plenty of open green space surrounded by mature landscaping, making it a private oasis! The house is a spacious split floorplan (one level) makes it perfect for large families, extend/multi- families or groups of friends with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms total. The master with ensuite includes a large jetted tub and separate large shower. We offer an oversized full kitchen, 3 dining areas (including the outdoor option), an office area, a cozy reading nook to enjoy a good book and your morning coffee. There's a large wet bar open to a wonderful, comfy living area with fireplace and Smart TV. We know a good night sleep is most important, so all beds are selected for maximum comfort with 5 quality memory foam mattresses and 1 luxury pillow top mattress. Each bed has 2 different style sleeping pillows to achieve the perfect comfort level. The kitchen is stocked with full service for 12 people, and plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, casserole dishes, and good knives to prepare meals for your group. We have salt, pepper, an array of spices, and olive oil. We also have plenty of coffee cups, wine glasses and champagne flutes. We've included a full set of plastic dinnerware for outdoor dining. The house is family friendly with board games, puzzles and tons of books. We've recently added a small wooden crib (for babies) that can be rolled into the second King bedroom. You’ll also find a additional pack’n’play (for toddlers), a highchair, sippy cups and children's plates, bowls and utensils to accommodate your little ones. We've focused the whole design to promote togetherness. All areas have been staged to encourage conversation and quality time spent together. We have intentionally designed the main living area with the TV to enjoy family movies and shows. There are not TVs in the bedrooms. Are you staying a little longer and need to get in some work in with your play? Utilize our lovely desk set up for your laptop complete with USB plugs for accessories. From our house, you can walk out the door and be at Jax Beach’s favorite local coffee spot (Bold Bean) in 3 minutes walking. And then carry on walking and be at the beach in 4 more minutes. (6-7 min total walk straight to the beach) On the walk back from the beach, you can grab the perfect post beach snack: an acai bowl at another favorite local spot - Fla Juice & Bowls. In the evening, you can walk to dinner at a number of restaurants including Casa Maria (local) that has a cool courtyard with outside seating, SoNapa which is a more upscale dining experience, or Bonefish grill for some of their bang bang shrimp! And for dessert, MayDay Ice Cream just opened right next to the coffee shop. There are also 5 clothing/accessory boutiques within a 4 min walk from the house. You can walk to pretty much everything you need, but there also so many things just a very short drive away: Trader Joes Whole Foods Target Publix Marshall's Another Broken Egg First Watch We're also close to: TIAA Bank Stadium Mayo Clinic TPC Sawgrass Historic downtown St Augustine Guana state park, and so many more Guests have access to the entire home, as well as the front and backyard. A very quiet little beach town street; you'd never guess it's soo close to everything! Quite a few things are within walking distance, but we would recommend having a car to best explore the area. Our name. Why 'The Charleston' you may ask. It's a homage to our beautiful daughter. Our children are our 'why' so we couldn't think of a better way to thank her for putting up with all the months of late nights and weekends we all spent as a family renovating this special place. If you ever get to meet our little fireball, she'll tell you all the projects she helped within the house. Renovating and styling a 5 bedroom house ourselves with a 3 year old and new baby was a wild ride, but we wouldn't change the experience for anything. We love how it turned out, and hope you do too!
