This cozy cabin right on the edge of the lake is the perfect spot to enjoy kayaking and swimming, or to simply relax and unwind. Comfortably furnished spaces with two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, breezy screened-in porch with a beautiful view, and living/dining room with a cozy fire. A few minutes from the towns of Damariscotta and Round Pond, with charming shops and restaurants. Easy access to beaches, lighthouses, and coastal nature preserves. The space This lakeside cabin is on McCurdy Pond: a 200 acre, pristine mile long fresh water lake that sits at the top of the Pemaquid watershed. The cabin is right at the edge of the water with a breathtaking view that you can enjoy from the screened-in porch or the dock. The lake is a great spot to see a variety of birds- from loons to bald eagles. Spend your evenings stargazing by the fire pit while listening to the songs of the loons on the water. There are two bedrooms with comfortable full sized beds. One of the bedrooms features a stunning lake view through sliding glass doors that lead out to the waterfront. Enjoy your breakfast with a lake view at the dining table on the screened-in porch, or cozy up next to the fire in the living room on chilly evenings. The cabin is insulated and heated for year-round comfort and enjoyment. For a low-key night in, choose from a large selection of shows and movies on the TV with provided Netflix. The fiber internet provides fast WiFi for video calls if you need to stay connected while away. Go for a paddle on the lake in the provided kayaks to make this the perfect lakefront experience. In the winter time, the lake freezes over and is a wonderful spot for ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and ice fishing. Guest access Guests have the entire guest cabin to themselves as well as their own dock. The guest cabin shares a driveway with our home next door on the property. The dock is available seasonally between late May to early October. The screened-in porch is not heated or insulated, so is best to enjoy in warmer weather.
