The house has fiber optic internet , a small gym area and multiple work spaces for those who must work remotely. The property is a 10 minute walk away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, where the jungle touches the sea and you can swim in natural coral pools. You'll also be close by to great restaurants and a supermarket. The house is equipped to sleep a maximum of 6 people. It has 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, an open concept indoor living area and a large outdoor terrace with a dining table and custom made sofa to take in the garden views. You can prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen which includes a built in oven and island top electric cooking range. For those that like to relax while watching TV, a flat screen Smart TV is provided for you to login to your own streaming accounts to catch up on your favourite shows. We also have a separate fitness area on the property with gym equipment and plenty of space to do yoga if you are trying to keep fit during your stay. The outdoor area is fully fenced and private. You'll have your own pool to cool off in and loungers to soak up the sun from. Watch for friendly wildlife in the yard as it's common to see agoutis eating seeds from the garden and sloths, monkeys, toucans and macaws in the trees above. Our parking area fits two cars under the carport with room for two other cars in the secured driveway. This property is a private vacation home. You will have access to the main house, gym area, gardens and pool. We have a secured, gated entrance where up to 4 vehicles can fit. The neighbourhood is great for walking. An easy 10 minute walk away will take you to a supermarket, multiple restaurants, shopping and Playa Chiquita beach. The area is also bicycle friendly. Your hosts, Raina and Dave, are available through AirBnB messaging and WA. We recommend you download these apps to use during your trip. WA is widely used for taxis, restaurants and tours. Casa X'canan is located in a quiet residential area of Playa Chiquita, which is known to be one of the best neighborhoods in the South Caribbean. Here you'll be surrounded by nature and spot wildlife from the yard. From the property, you can easily access Puerto Viejo or Manzanillo by car or bicycle. A handful of great restaurants and a small grocery store are 400mts away. Access paths to Playa Chiquita beach are approximately 600mts away. The property is accessible by any type of vehicle. You do not need a 4x4 to visit this coast of Costa Rica. You will have plenty of space on the property to park your vehicle in the secured driveway. Once you are here, the area is best explored by bicycle, which can be rented daily or weekly from a location close to the house. Private taxis, tuk tuks and public transportation are also available for quick trips into Puerto Viejo or other local areas. We inform you that we do have staff regularly on the property to tend to the garden and clean the pool. Although we try to schedule them to work around your privacy, you may see our workers on site during your stay.
