Guest access Guest have entire home and waterfront to themselves, but we do not allow access to the boat lift. There is parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway. Please follow us @ThreeOaksRetreat Other things to note Please be advised that our property has a maximum occupancy of 8 adults and 4 children. We kindly request that you take note of the weight restrictions for the bunk beds in the designated bunk room, as they are not suitable for adults or individuals weighing over 175 pounds. It's important to mention that our home is multi-level and may pose challenges for individuals with difficulty navigating stairs. However, we do offer a bedroom on the main floor that requires no steps for access. Please not that current water levels are (3–10 ft, with it being lowest at the dock) great for paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and fishing while the Lake McQueeney dam is under repair. We will remove the small floating dock March 9th as they will start filling the Lake and we should return to normal lake levels by late May 2026. Because of the water is down several feet for Dam repair, be aware that the property features several staircases and steep drops from the dock, potentially making it unsuitable for toddlers and individuals with difficulty navigating steps. There is no safety gate to protect children from entering the water. We have put in steps to access the water during this time. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $49 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
