This 1500 sq ft comfortable, split-level home located in the quiet Moody Lake community, is a cozy, four seasons home equipped with modern amenities, a pier, sunset facing deck, fire pit, tvs, bikes and all you need for a peaceful respite. The Getaway is located minutes away from Chequamegon & Nicolet National Forests, the Oconto and Peshtigo Rivers, Chute Pond, Cathedral Pines and with convenient proximity to hiking, fishing, swimming, dining, casinos and other outdoor activities. The space The Good Moody Getaway has everything you need...from super fast WiFi to pot and pans to s'mores sticks. The bright master bedroom has two dressers for your use along with a comfy king sized bed. The 2nd bedroom on the lower lake level (what we call the kids room) has a queen bed and twin bunk beds along with a small TV and DVD player. The split level allows the adults to entertain upstairs while the kids play downstairs. There is a 42" TV with Apple TV upstairs (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and other apps). There is a 46" flat screen downstairs with a Roku 3 loaded with apps. just bring your login info! The internet is robust enough to have all of your devices and both tvs streaming at the same time. The kitchen has everything you need for dining. From plates to pans to blenders. Of course there is a drip coffee maker and toaster. Fridge, stove, microwave, and even a pizza maker. Outside on the deck there is a new gas grill ready for your use along with a fire pit and free fire wood. S'mores sticks are in the downstairs closet. The house is right on Moody Lake with your own private pier and a four person paddleboat for your use. Fishing is NOT great on Moody Lake thanks to a deep freeze in 2019. However, Anderson Lake across highway 32 and Chute Pond five minutes away are good for bass and pike and panfish. There is a washer and dryer downstairs for laundry along with plenty of books and games. The house uses soft water and has a large tank for those long hot morning showers. And it includes central air to provide heat in winter and A/C in summer. We just upgraded to fiber internet so the internet is rock solid and fast. There is also a 50a Tesla charger in the garage if you want to bring your EV. Guest access The entire house is yours. There are two adult bikes in the shed next to the lake. The garage and sandpoint well shed are locked at all times. Other things to note We will message the door code a day before your scheduled stay. There is a guest book to sign as well as a binder on the kitchen table with everything to know about Oconto County. There is always something going on in the area.
