Mill Valley is a beautiful town at the foot of Mt. Tamalpias in Marin County. Our newly remodeled and comfortable home is easy driving distance to San Francisco, the wine country, beaches, and beautiful hikes among redwoods in Marin; it's also an 8-min walk to Whole Foods or buses into SF. On-street parking is always available right outside our house. [For an additional guest, please see "Comfortable Room in Lovely Mill Valley"] The space Our home is comfortable and relaxing. The room is quiet, comfortable, has a great bed, and light-block curtains. Ample closet space, and drawers available for smaller clothing items. Shared bathroom (sorry, no tub) immediately across the hall. Due to drought here in CA, we ask that you help us conserve water. Light kitchen use is available, microwave, toaster, coffee and/or tea. Occasion full meals are an option by prearrangement. Also, outdoor deck just off the living room for meals and/or relaxing. Laundry facilities available on request. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Separate shared guest bath with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Coffee, tea, and food staples for cooking available for our guests. Guest access You have access to most of the house, including the front and back decks and yards, with the exception of the master bedroom and bath. During your stay We have an attached occupied in-law unit with separate entrance through the back gate. Tenant has a friendly Miniature Dachshund. Depending on our plans and what our guests prefer, we can be very sociable or give our guests space and privacy. We are available if you need hints on where to dine, where to hike, etc. Other things to note We have one small/medium-sized dog, Ginger, who is friendly (though she may initially woof when you walk in the door), and a slow-moving miniature dachshund named Jocko (belonging to our neighbor in the in-law unit next door) who may wander in from time to time. If you are leaving early, let us know ahead of time and perhaps we can have some milk and cereal or eggs for you to get you going in the morning.
