In the middle of nature in the lovingly furnished 5-star holiday home with a 6000m ² parking garden, you can find peace and quiet. The cottage is located in a very quiet location by the forest. Enjoy romantic evenings by the fireplace and candlelight. Barbecue on the terrace while splashing the water cascades or bake stick bread by the campfire. It's a person and a dog's paradise. The space We love the house and you will also do it! The children grew up and we have now decided to share our weekend paradise with holiday guests. We have freshly renovated the living rooms and furnished them for holiday guests. Our furnishing: Living room: Comfort and comfort in the living room with a sitting area, indoor fireplace, UHD TV with Smart TV (with internet connection), DVD player and a stereo system. Here you can spend relaxing evenings in a cozy atmosphere by the fireplace and candlelight. The spacious dining area has an access to the balcony on the south side of the house with another dining table. A free fast Wi-Fi is available to our guests. Kitchen: The small but fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for cooking and baking. Refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic hob, hood, oven, coffee machine, coffee machine, coffee grinder, kettle, toaster, food processor, spices and tea towels. An additional fridge/ freezer is available in the basement. 1st bedroom: Bedroom with one double bed (180cm x 200cm) and 2 wardrobes. The bunk bed consists of two beds of the size 90 cm x 200 cm. On the two beds are bookshelves with selected children's books, as well as a cell phone speaker. The window is equipped with an insect screen. 1. Bathroom: Upstairs there is a bath with shower, washbasin, hair dryer and toilet. In addition, underfloor heating is provided in the bathroom. 2. Bathroom: The second bathroom on the ground floor was renovated in 2019 and has a large rain shower, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer and washing machine. Party room: The basement party room with an illuminated bar counter, fridge, pull-out sofa bed, stereo system, disco ball, pull-out table for 8 people, board games, shoe closet, wood stove and benches offers a pleasant atmosphere for cozy gatherings. Sauna and porch From August 2019, a 6 m² sauna will be at your disposal. A small veranda allows direct access from the house. Water: The tap water comes from the in-house water fountain with very good Vogelsberg drinking water, which is of course checked for purity annually. Heating: The house is heated with a central gas heater. In addition, the indoor fireplace in the living room sufficiently heats the entire upper floor. Barbecues on patio and campfire: On the covered terrace with outdoor fireplace, you can spend cozy evenings while barbecuing while crashing. For romantic evenings, there is a location fire pit with benches and an adjacent dining area. Garden: The 6000m² fenced property in the weekend area of Gonterskirchen is surrounded by the forest and a picturesque creek. In addition to two ponds with carp and red-eyed fish, there is a small goldfish pond with cascades of waterfalls in the stone garden at the house. Depending on the season, you will find many animals in the garden: frogs, salamanders, fireflies, raccoons, deer beetles - pure nature! Probably the sweetest are the pig swimming in our ponds. Vacation with dog: animal pleasure We value that your pets feel comfortable with us. The property is fenced. There are food bowls, dog towel, as well as a dog bed available for your dog. ____________________________________ Vacation for families with children: There is so much to do: baking stock bread by the campfire, browsing the many children's books, playing board games in the evening. Your children will find many play opportunities in our playhouse, as well as sandbox. ______________________________________ Active vacation: hiking and biking The hiking trails start right by the house. The volcanic ring Vogelsberg with a length of about 115 km can be hiked in 6 stages. If you only have a few hours, you can choose a circuit about the weekend areas in Gonterskirchen or under nine"premium trails" with a length between 9 and 19 kilometers of the Vogelsberg Touristik. For cyclists, there is a well-developed bike path network on old railway lines. These bike paths are without traffic and therefore ideal for families. There are about 245 km of train cycle paths (Vulkanradweg, Südbahnradweg, Hungen-Laubach railway path, and much more) available. Guest access You have access to all rooms in the house and garden except the equipment shed and the workshop.
