If you are looking for a clean & cozy private guest suite that sits on the first floor with courtyard garden access, amenities and within easy walking distance to the grocery store, French bakery, Starbuck’s coffee and restaurants, this is it! We put a lot of love and thought into pulling together this private guest suite for wonderful guests to enjoy. Permit #SVR21-091 Warmth, character, and lots of comfy spaces inside and out. The bed is queen size with private bath with a sofa sleeper also availale in the living space. The bathroom/shower is right next to your room. Enjoy this unique space with plenty of natural light and European/Surf Culture influences. Access to your suite is through the garage - the code will be provided upon your arrival. The bedroom suite is a warm and inviting space. For convenience there is a microwave, fridge, Keurig stocked with coffees and teas and a smart TV (note: no cable/local channels). Private bathroom/shower/clawfoot tub. Make yourself at home on the couch or access the summer room or back yard through the french doors that open off your space. The laundry room is in the same back half of the house - please be sure to request before using the washer or dryer for extended stays. The summer room and back yard are beautiful places to sit and enjoy relaxing Sonoma County. A grocery store and any great places to eat are within walking distance - most within 3 blocks. The most convenient parking is directly in front of the raised garden bed on the east near the suite, but we are a corner house so any of the many available spaces on the street will do. Few things rejuvenate the soul as much as a quiet drive in the country. Few short drives can equal the simple beauty of a drive through Bennett Valley. Our valley has some great wineries, great hiking (try Sonoma Mountain Regional Park) and Howarth Park. Safeway and Starbucks are 1/4 mile away. That same Market area is home to Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Mexican restaurants. The Bennett Valley Golf Course is less than a mile from our house. A block from Bennett Valley road that connects you to Glen Ellen and Sonoma Valley and more wineries than you could possibly visit. 5 minutes to Montgomery Village and 10-15 minutes to downtown Santa Rosa by car or Uber. Walking distance to the grocery store, Starbucks, and many restaurants. We have a curious cat named Lucy that will introduce herself to you. Please be sure to close the doors to your space so she does not crawl into your suitcases and depart with you. We also have chickens that are contained in a walk-in coop in the back yard.
