Camano Island Re-Treat Suite

Our cozy guest suite is meant to be a place where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of rural island living. Camano Island offers much -- beautiful sunrises and sunsets, hiking, boating, fun dining experiences, antique shopping, coffee drinking and our beautiful island beaches, etc.. We love meeting new people and we are happy to share our property with people who want to unplug, unwind, and BE! Be assured — we follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing. The space The suite is about 270 square feet. While it is designed for one or two, the small couch in the sitting area does fold out and can accommodate a child comfortably. There is no kitchen, per se, but the sitting room has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishes. There is a barbeque under a covered area outside for your use. You'll have fun strolling around our small farm and interacting with our animals (chickens, dog and cats), perhaps enjoying an afternoon nap in one of our hammocks. Here on our farm, we enjoy growing organic veges and flowers, raising bees for honey, and chasing after our grandchildren when they're around. In late summer, when the apple crop comes in, we press cider and do a lot of canning. We love to go crabbing -- if you're here at the right time, a crab feast may await you! We have many fun Island events to enjoy from May - September, including the renown Camano Island Studio Tour (art tour) that takes place in May. A farmer's market operates on Fridays in Stanwood during the harvest months. There is too much to list here, but come on up and see what we have going on our little gem of an island! For more info about events and our area, please see thecrabcracker. Guest access There are several steps and a ramp that leads up to the front door. While the suite is not certified "ADA" accessible, we have had both our moms in wheelchairs use the suite space before it became an airbnb. The suite has its own private deck and outdoor grilling area. Guests are free to wander the property, although we would like our privacy respected.
