Relax in peaceful tranquility of the newest addition to Gola cabins in “the Winchester”. A newly built Tiny Cabin situated in the forest next to a private pond. The property is bordering the Huron national Forest with plenty of hiking trails throughout. We are directly across the street from an ORV Trail head. This is a perfect location for UTV, ATV and, snowmobiling. The cabin is equipped with AC, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen. Plus a bon-fire pit. W/ cooking grate. The space The Winchester is nestled in the back corner of my secluded property back in the woods of ajoining the Huron national Forest. Walking/ hiking trails abound to the northwest. We are pet friendly, we ask that you place your dog droppings into the forest. We also have a three-year-old lab on the premises who has the run of the property and is very social and friendly. If you are looking for well manicured grounds and high speed Internet access, This is not the place for you! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a rustic northern Michigan cabin to unplug and explore the forest, then this may be the ideal place for you! I am a very friendly host with two wonderful co-hosts. A maintenance man on standby, and I will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Guest access The guests are free to roam my property and socialize with myself or the other guests. My 2 1/2-year-old Labrador retriever is very social and friendly and loves to play with other doggies. Feel free to follow the well traveled trails throughout the forest. We have beaches nearby at Island Lake and loon Lake and the rifle river recreation area. Also, don’t forget to go kayaking or canoeing down the Mighty Au Sable River. Other things to note Firewood may or may not be available on the premises. Supplies are limited as we do need to heat our home throughout the winter. This cabin is set up for the more adventurous type looking for a step up from rustic camping. If you are a refined city slicker this may not be for you.
