1905 Craftsman home built for the president of the Union Lumber Company almost entirely of Redwood. The was the first house in Willits to have electricity. You will be stepping back in time with hosts who have traveled the world. You will be welcomed as friend to our home. The space 1905 Craftsman home built for the president of the Union Lumber Company. The house was built to show off the uses of redwood and each room was done differently. We have been working to restore it to its original elegance. It is a little bit of a museum of the period. It is beautiful to step back in time and yet feel comfortable. The room is a large 450 sq. ft. downstairs bedroom with private bath. There is also a room off the master bedroom with an addition double bed, sink, and refrigerator. We provide an amazing assortment of tea and coffee. We have spent many years traveling the world and love to talk travel. Our goal is to share the same hospitality we have found in our travels. Willits is the gateway to the redwoods, just north of the wine country and 1 hour to the Mendocino coast. We are located in the center of town within a short walk to everything. The house is 5000 sq. ft. and has a big kitchen. We will do as much as possible to make it feel like your home. Our favorite part of hosting is meeting people. We are happy to talk about what to see in Mendocino County or any other part of the world. This is the premier street to live on in Willits. We try to always be home to greet you and if you text ahead we will try to answer any questions about what to see and traveling before you arrive. Other things to note Willits is located inland a one hour drive from the coast.
