Good wifi, desk, great little space to WFH or just relax! Quick drive to the waterfront town, 10 minutes to the Bremerton ferry. -Steep stairs -Expect some road noise The space This cozy cabin is a fabulous getaway spot that can comfortably accommodate 4. It’s perfectly curated with stylish furnishings, super comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. It's the perfect place to work from home. Even better, relax, curl up with a book or take a nap. The hot tub is dreamy, all seasons. This will be your happy place! Year-round you will see much wildlife from the large, covered deck right on Puget Sound. Eagles, seals, otters. Birds love the cove during winter storms. Fun to kayak in the bay! Two are available to guests. Close to a cute, waterfront town with wonderful restaurants and shops! Please note: The inside stairs are steep. Cabin is close to a busy street. The beach and neighborhood is not very walkable, however we can recommend dog parks and nature walks nearby! Guest access The entire home will be yours for the stay. Important: extra guests, not on the booking are not allowed. Parties prohibited. Also, kindly, no smoking or vaping. It's a great family getaway but not kid-proof. Proximity to water and breakable decor - toddler safety is a concern. Other things to note This is a two bedroom cottage with everything you’ll need for a cozy getaway! King & Queen size beds, bathroom is downstairs. Two decks to view the gorgeous Puget Sound. Other things to note: TRAVEL INSURANCE - If you believe there is a chance you'll need to cancel your reservation after booking, please purchase the optional travel insurance from Airbnb or a third-party provider. Exceptions to the cancellation policy are unavailable. INTERNET - This home has high-speed cable Internet which is suitable for remote work. HOT TUB - The hot-tub is NOT shared and is available for your exclusive use. PETS - Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture, nor are they allowed to be left unattended in the cottage. Please pick up after them and do not allow them to wander into the neighboring properties. CHILDREN - This home was specifically furnished and equipped to host 4 adults. While we do not prohibit children, our maximum capacity is 4. No guests allowed. Please note that the property is not childproofed and is in very close proximity to the lake. *Pack n play available. EARLY CHECK-INS / LATE CHECKOUTS - Early check-ins and late checkouts are unavailable. We apologize but our cleaning staff cannot predictably accommodate extended stays. If you must arrive earlier or stay later than the prescribed check-in/out times, consider booking an additional day if available. Thank you for your understanding. FISHING - You can fish! - but need a license (see Wa State Dept of Fish & Wildlife website for more information) KAYAKING - kayaks and life jackets are provided. Swim/kayak at your own risk. FIRE PIT - The fire-pit is available for your use but wood is not provided. A lighter is usually stored in the kitchen drawer. Please check the Kitsap County Washington website to determine if a burn ban is in effect. CLEANING PRODUCTS - We sparingly use scented laundry soap and dryer sheets but do not use home air-fresheners around the property. POWER OUTAGES - Power outages can occur during the winter months. Though rare, it does happen when trees fall (which are in great quantity in this area). If this happens during your stay, power is usually restored usually within a few hours. Refunds will not be offered for situations out of our control. Sinclair cottage is next door to Sinclair House. They are separate properties but can be rented together to accommodate up to 10. Things to know: -Close to road -Warning: sharp driveway. Enter at an angle. -The stairs are very steep -The water system is on a well. It’s important to conserve or the water will run out completely. Over a day to recover and may cause expensive damage. -The septic is a super expensive, eco friendly, Glendon mound system. *Please do not flush anything but TP. No “flushable” products are allowable. -The beach and neighborhood is not very walkable, however we can recommend dog parks and nature walks nearby! **Guests will be charged or vacated for violation of house rules.
