Spindleberry is a spacious, character cottage in a small village with a traditional pub and a few mins’ drive away from beaches and attractions. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 double bedrooms, one with ensuite and a family bathroom. Downstairs has a large lounge and dining room with dual aspect log fire and spacious well-equipped kitchen with cottage garden. A home from home having all creature comforts and personal touches. A perfect spot to explore North Devon and easily reach Cornwall. The space Spindleberry offers tranquillity and peace in a small village just minutes from the popular beaches, coastline, Tarka Trail, and attractions. A spacious, family-friendly, cottage, ideal for multiple generation family holidays, for groups of friends, or for a special celebration. The cottage comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is the hub of the house where everyone gravitates with an informal dining area seating and all modern conveniences with a welcoming cottage feel leading to the private garden. The dining room can seat up to 10 and the lounge offers comfort and relaxation sharing a dual aspect log burner and French doors to the patio. Sky and a large selection of games are available in the lounge. The private, contained garden is surrounded by countryside with a perfect spot for morning and evening sun on the decking area, a lawned area that enjoys the sunshine all day, and the courtyard with a large dining table to enjoy meals together. Upstairs there are four comfortable double bedrooms, a family bathroom, and an ensuite bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, private balcony with vast views over the countryside. Two of the bedrooms (Bumble room and Butterfly room can be prepared as twin or king/superking on request). A travel cot and bedding is available for Bumble room or Bird room on request. There is a pull-out stairgate fixed at the bottom of the stairs to prevent young children from climbing the stairs in the daytime, but please note, there is no stairgate at the top of the stairs and therefore, parents must ensure safety when children are upstairs. Guest access Three parking spaces are available outside the house and The Bell Inn, a traditional Inn is a stroll up the lane. The area has lots of country and coastal walks with a wonderful walking and cycle path -the Tarka Trail with bicycle hire. The Tarka Trail is just down the lane (simply set off on foot from the house) with cycle hire and the beautiful Rosemoor gardens a couple of miles away. Located within a few minutes drive to the popular Westward Ho! beach and village. Instow beach and Appledore fishing village offer quaint seaside destinations lined with Devon cottages and beautiful scenery, restaurants, galleries, and relaxing days. There are also many other beautiful beaches within 20 minutes that offer breath-taking coastal walks, traditional local Inns, bars, and restaurants, venture off the beaten path into the lanes and you will find many secret spots and coves. In either direction is Bude and Saunton sands and Croyde, all great destinations with lovely spots in-between. A visit to Clovelly is always a favourite to wander down the cobbled streets to the fishing harbour. The main adventure parks are the Big Sheep (10 minutes) and The Milky Way (25 minutes).
