Murphy Retreat 1 Bed&Bath $30 NO Cleaning fee

Beautiful large home in a serene mountain like forest retreat yet close to thriving Downtown Athens, UGA campus, restaurants and shopping. We are walking distance to mountain looking trails, creeks and the river. Extremely safe, beautiful & clean. Prices go up for special events only. Dog fee $10, no cats. The space MURPHYS RETREAT 1 Murphy’s Retreat 1 , is on the second floor, guest have a private room and private clean nice bathroom with toiletries and a great hot shower. Of course free WiFi. As of December guest rooms will have fire stick Smart TV in their room with free streaming. We get utube tv, Peacock and Amazon Prime. Murphy’s Retreat 1 , is upstairs Queen bedroom and private bathroom not shared with anyone else. The charge for the one Queen bedroom and all amenities is only $30, no cleaning fees ( not included in this amount is the guest service fees by Airbnb and state taxes) In groups that need 2 bedrooms, sitting room, 2 bathrooms and a lot more , they can book Murphys Retreat 1 and Murphys Retreat 2 if both bookings are available to book. Murphys Retreat 1 does not accommodate over 2 people. No children under 5 yrs old . There is free parking in the drive, one car per party, extra cars can park on the street curb. Our price is the lowest around , because we don’t add extra fees the only extra fee is Airbnb service and local taxes charged by Airbnb . We enjoy hosting guest and most every review we have is above average in cleanliness, hospitality, comfort, beauty, location and safety. Thanks for looking. If for any reason during your stay there is anything unsatisfactory , please inform the host and every effort will be made to resolve any problems or concerns. No longer a mini frig in this room but guests can use our kitchen frig and freezer and some light cooking . We enjoy interacting the guests but respect your privacy , at times we are very social and often have friends over for dinner parties, playing board games or watching sporting events so if you are uncomfortable with this , we will inform you about any gatherings of our friends during your booking dates, if not guest are welcomed to join us or say Hi. There is a small coffee maker, in the room and utensils for eating food you bring back from restaurants. Guest are welcome to prepare light meals and get our Athens restaurant guides we provide, great restaurants in our foody We are 6 miles to Downtown Athens , however if guests prefer to check out closer restaurants we are 1.5 miles to a huge variety of different restaurants on Barnett Shoals Rd just a few minutes away. We have a list if needed. Each room has a Flagpole Guide listing just about everything there is to do in Athens and list and describes every restaurant ( 200 or more) . Our vibrant fun town is waiting for your explorations. We take pride in providing an inexpensive , safe and clean Airbnb experience for our guests. We are not a fancy hotel or airbnb ( or expensive) so expect clean, comfy, safe and private accommodations that is cheaper than our state parks cost that you won’t get a tv, bed, AC, heat, WiFi , comfy bed and your own private bathroom with all the towels, toiletries and more , so If guests are not satisfied for any reason please let us know what you need or expected so we can keep our 5 star ratings and especially make you happy but take into account t what you get for what you pay . If you want a luxury hotel in Athens they are $300 a night and are some airbnbs just cleaning fees alone are $50. So be fair and reasonable and we will do the same Guest access Guest can use the entire house except use of other private bedrooms and private bathrooms , use of the back deck, grill and tables, we have free parking in the driveway for 1 car, additional parking on the street. Any additional vehicles can park along front curb of the house , all parking is safe and close . We are an extremely clean property and follow cleaning protocols. The outside deck and yard are spacious and great place for enjoying with grills, fans, umbrellas and large deck. During your stay Guest bedroom and bathroom are exclusively private to only the guest that book them. We respect guests who don’t want to interact and give you as much privacy as you want . Shared spaces are the kitchen, sitting rooms, outside deck and dining room. and use of outside grille. Your private room has tea and coffee available to make, but the host usually has a pot of coffee made in the morning each day and not always but sometimes pastry .Bottled water and a few treats are in guest rooms at no charge. Breakfast is not included but time permitting we have breakfast and always a pot of coffee . Other things to note No minimum days to stay , one night is okay but over 2 weeks we ask for more details on your plans. Murphy’s Retreat 1 is a bright , cheerful upstairs Bedroom with a Queen bed and private bathroom.Please note we are pet friendly but our rule on pets is where you go they go, no pets can be unattended and left with us while you are off the premises. If you have problems finding the other listing contact Airbnb There is a small one cup coffee or tea maker in the room but very small and difficult to put in much water. A pot of coffee is made each morning and on the kitchen counter, with cream etc. Guests are welcome to make their own coffee and breakfast . No mini frig in the room any longer but guests can use kitchen frig and freezer , you will get your own space . Any concerns about cleanliness , need for more blankets , towels or any requests please let us know your concerns and any problems or disappointments so we can try and fix this before getting negative reviews because we have been 5 star super hosts for 5 years and want to continue to please our guests. One thing to keep in mind is that we are not a fancy Airbnb or hotel but our price for a safe, comfortable , clean private room and private bathroom, with TV , WiFi and It’s less money than a campground and so much better. So if you’re not happy with our low pricing , your accommodations please let us know because there is a state campground for $38 a night but no bed, no AC or heat and definitely no TV.
