Charming traditional cottage nestled in lovely gardens, ideally located for exploring West Cornwall. Nearby Hayle has 3 miles of beautiful beaches. St Ives, St Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, Penzance are just ten minutes drive. Enjoy the stunning coastal train ride to St Ives from nearby St Erth Station. Please be aware there is construction of 3 houses opposite. Further info/ health and safety sections or message. If out exploring in the day this may not be an issue as 2025 reviews show The space Downstairs -Living room with cosy log burner, small smart TV , sofa and chair, visitors maps, books and info. Views to the front garden. -A well equipped kitchen with double oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave and ample crockery and utensils. The kitchen perfectly serves its purpose but is not modern. Views to the rear and side gardens and a door to the rear. - A good sized bathroom with toilet, hand basin and shower over a short bath. Towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. -A cosy dining room with seating for 3, with views through the window or stable door to the rear garden. There’s a wicker chair by the window for you to enjoy views of the garden or curl up with a book. Open the stable door on an evening when the honeysuckle is out and let the fragrance flood in. Wooden open tread stairs lead off to the two bedrooms. There is an under stairs cupboard for hoover, iron etc Upstairs -Double bedroom with double bed, ( 4 ft 6 “), wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs and bedside tables. Views to the front garden. - Single bedroom set under the eaves with beams and exposed stone. There’s a hanging rack for clothes, a small chest of drawers and a wicker chair. Views to the rear garden. Note- NOT SUITABLE FOR A LARGE or TALL PERSON Outside -Gardens to three sides with table and chairs . -Please note that the garden is not enclosed Parking -is on a gravelled area and for ONE car only. Please do not arrive in two cars as there is nowhere to park on the Lane or nearby! Access -The lane is single track and the last 100 metres or so is dirt track. if you have a very low suspension or are anxious about your car or reversing this is probably not the place for you to have a relaxing time! Paths - I live next door and we share entrance paths. These are also uneven. It is an old cottage after all!. Guest access There is a key safe for your arrival . The garden around the cottage is for your use from the shared front path to the fence at the rear. Please don’t use the blue shed. Other things to note Please note that there may be some daytime noise from construction of 3 houses opposite the property. If you plan to be out exploring this may not be an issue for you. Please message if you need further information or look at health and safety for times of quiet hours. Reviews from 2025 make no mention of any inconvenience.
